Vaz Event Re-cap!
Hey lovers, the weeks halfway over.. yay! Just wanted to do a recap of a great event I attended, ‘Vaz Modern Beauty’, where I showcased Sweet & Chic and Bittersweet. My dear friend Jesika came along and helped me with my booth at this event. (She’s magical!)
The event took place at the Society Room in Hartford, CT. There were tons of great vendors, shops, and small businesses from makeup & hair to clothing, liquors, and jewelry. I met some really cool women who also started and maintain their own businesses, which was very inspiring! I gave away my “Reading is Sexy” bookmarks for free & met so many people that I ran out of business cards! Good or Bad thing? lol. All in all it was fun meeting new people and introducing my brand & businesses to new faces!

Aja’s ‘September’ Release Party & NEW Stickers!
Hey lovers! Last night I attended an album release party for an up & coming singer/songwriter, Aja, & her new EP, “September.” The first 50 ladies were given free gift bags & in each was a new sticker I designed that will be sold in the store very soon!
I love seeing and supporting other woman who are working towards their dreams so I decided to use the quote, “She believed she could, so she did.” It’s one of my FAVORITES because it’s extremely inspiring yet simple.
Of course, I had camera issues so I ended up snapping a few pictures from the party on my phone.

Recent Work: “The White Library” Re-Design
I recently did a re-design for one of my favorite people and blogs: Sandra of The White Library!
She wanted to simplify her blog, www.thewhitelibrary.com, and give it a cleaner look with less clutter. I redesigned her header with her signature pennant & colors, redesigned & de-cluttered her sidebar, and gave her some new social media icons. I also added links to her categories at the top for easier navigation.

Behind the Scenes of 1st Shoot (via instragram)
Hey lovers.. I’ve returned to blog again! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted & so many magical things have happened for Sweet & Chic. The biggest being that I’ve now launched an online store called, BITTERSWEET! It’s a more modern and bolder style than my usual work and I’m so excited for it!
In October I did a photoshoot for the store with all of my products. The photos were taken by Paul of Stills and Video, an amazing photographer who helped me out tremendously. My friend & hairdresser Jasmine styled hair, and my other amiga Demree both modeled and did makeup. They’re both magical humans and I appreciate them and their awesome work!
Soooo.. here’s some ‘behind the scenes’ type photos I instagramed throughout that day, thought I’d share.

Latest Work: Sky Themed Baby Shower Set
Here’s a sneak peak picture of a current ‘sky themed‘ baby boy shower set I’m working on. I’m using elements from the sky such as clouds and sun/moon shapes. The cute colors in the designs are baby blue, yellow, gray, & white, perfect for a little boy. I’ll share the set in it’s entirety soon!
