Candyland Birthday Party Inspiration
My birthday is soon approaching! (2 weeks & 4 days! Yes, I’m one of those annoying people who counts down the days…) I’ve started a tradition of throwing a huge house party every year for my birthday. This year I couldn’t decide between certain themes, so I asked my family, friends, & fb, and thanks to everyone’s opinion I decided to throw a kick ass CANDYLAND party!
For my party I’m not going to focus so much on the characters from the game because I’m turning 24, not 12. I’m mainly pulling inspiration from the bright colors & candies/sweets. A friend of mine suggested watching ‘Katy Perry’s – California Girls’ video & that gave me all the inspiration I needed. (‘Fergie – Fergalicious’ is a good one!)
So can I tell you how much I love this inspiration board?! It’s frkn magical…

Inspiration Board: Spring/Summer Wedding
The weather is beyond magical today! So magical, I attempted to get a tan (fail..) & I created this beachy, tropical, wedding inspiration board. Looking at it makes me want to go on vacation!!!

Couture Wedding Inspiration
Before I design anything, I always look for inspiration; from blogs, clothing, colors, fabrics, decor, television shows, movies, art, nature.. anything really! While on tumblr, I was completely inspired by this Louis Vuitton bag below. From that I created this high-fashion-couture wedding inspiration board and I absolutely love it. Can’t wait to design matching wedding paper (:

Hello Blog & Hello Kitty!
After much time trying to figure out WordPress I’ve finally launched the new and improved blog, at a new address, with a new look! I’ll be posting Inspiration from weddings and other events, style ideas & advice, my own design projects and event paper, my ‘5 Magical Things of the Week‘ & anything I feel magical enough to share.
So I’ll start with my latest design project. I’ve been working on a paper set for a ‘Hello Kitty Inspired Birthday Party!‘ Instead of using typical pink I was inspired by the photos below: Red, Black, and White. These colors mixed with damask will make the set not only for a child’s birthday but an adult’s as well. What girl doesn’t love hello kitty?
